This is an NTSC Unit as far as I know.

...has 1MB on board which complements the 1MB on the 500/trap door.

$80 inc. shipping in USA (lwr 48)

Yeah, I'd definitely be interested, my CDTV is in need of a boost, this would be the easiest way I think to give it a little breathing room.

Why Commodore was too dang cheap to give their 'multimedia' box the full two megs chip RAM is beyond me, so I guess I'll have to do it.

Remember there are PAL and NTSC variants of this addon.

If you buy an NTSC version with the intentions of converting to PAL, you will need the exact corresponding PAL Agnus or risk damage.

so tell me please,
i've an NTSC A2000 (yes a true one), so i can put this part.
But what will happen if i want to set it to PAL with the early kickstart or by jumper (for PAL only games) ?

I don't think setting PAL in early start-up menu affects this but I don't know 100%.

Yes you are right, it does not affect this. An NTSC A2000 will work find with an NTSC MegAChip switched to PAL in software.

JDK: Read off the Agnus number (xxxxxxx-xx) and I'll post the corresponding PAL number for any Euro people considering getting one of these and swapping chips.
