Hi Everyone,
I am having trouble with my new LCD TV, an Onn 26" Widescreen model KL26AS25Q.
When I have it connected to my 1200 through the VGA port on my Voodoo 3 3000 it
will only display a proper screen at 640x480 any higher resolution will only have a
small portion of the screen displayed.
My previous LCD TV a 20" (none-widescreen) Mikomi had no problems with 800x600 at all, but unfortnatly it broke.
Acording to the manual the TV is capable of the following VGA modes:
VGA
SVGA
XGA
WXGA
(60Hz maximum)
Just to make sure it wasnt the TV I connected my Dell laptop and it can display any screenmode correctly that I
throw at it.
I would really prefer to have a resolution of 800x600 or higher!
I am using an 1200 with Mediator, Voodoo 3 3000 16MB, 060 66Mhz, 64MB Ram, Picasso 96 V2.1b, OS3.9 + BB2.
It will also not dislay my 1200's output through either the Aerial or Scart inputs and will only
just display a readable display using the AV cable. Im not sure if this is the TV or the 1200 at
this point.
If anyone has any advice for getting any higher resolutions I would be very grateful.

Could be you need to set a monitor scaling option. Also, try a 1280x768 resolution (seems to be the screens maximum/native res) and see what happens.

Thanks or the advice, Tried the resolution but same thing as before I nly appear to get about a quater of the screen being displayed :-(

BUMP,
Anyone else have any Ideas?

One more idea (and my apologies if this is stating the obvious), you have your Voodoo configured for 60 Hz vertical refresh on the resolutions you're trying?

Is widescreen a good idea with 'classic' Amiga's? I'd have thought you'd be better off with 4:3
