yeah i know there compatible but are they as good as the voodoo 3?

Banshee is older, so I would assume the Voodoo3 3000 would be a better card.

agreed the voodoo 3 was a way better and faster card.

banshee appeared a little after voodoo2... basically it has 1 texture unit at 100mhz (voodoo2 had 2 texture units at 90mhz) and a 2D gfx chip, so it was a stand-alone product (unlike v2 that needed a normal vga to work with)...

The Banshee doesn't work with Warp3D, but if you still plan on just having a 030 CPU in your A1200T, then the Voodoo Banshee will be enough for you.
