Good luck with your sale. (Assuming that's your auction)
It should be internesting to watch.

That's the second in as many weeks.
I wish I had a spare £650 (assuming it goes for the same price as the last one).
-
I think the last one was a G3 not a G4.
-
I also wish I had that much laying around!
-
Lol
I actually perhaps do have enough, but it's too much of a risk, however tempting.
The one here does seem to be better presented by the seller so it may go much higher.

Me too, I'd hire the penthouse suite of the Hilton for one night and spend what's left on Cocaine and Hookers... oh, yeah... I suppose I could buy an A1... But that just seems like a waste :roll:

I'm looking forward to NatAmi... 8-)

I wish I had that much full stop.

@tokyoracer

That's not unusual for a tower PC case.

Whats the compatibility with pre OS4 stuff like?
-
Most 68K apps that will work on a graphics card are as stable as they are on 3.9.
If something proves to be a little unstable you can force it run on the interpreted emulation, Photogenics for example become much more stable when you do thus.
There are also a couple of utilities on OS4 Depot such as CIAgent and Blitzen which can help coax a few more programs into running.
Most old ECS and AGA games are going to have to be run under EUAE.
I find it good enough that I use my other A1 as my main everyday system here.

@ChuckT
You should see the ammount of wires in my other A1, or for that matter the ones trailing across the desk.

It's time for Moana, a faster Mac Mini G4 runs £100 to £150. It's just stupid to have to pay 5 or 6 times as much for a few lines of uboot code!
Come on guys, the Mac folks took less time cracking Intel' TPM than this. Where's those Amiga programmers?

Please be careful as your post is borderline trolling for this thread.
The market will pay what the market thinks it is worth. What you (or I) may think it's relative value may be is for a different thread at a different time.
@Rob
I hope this does not mean you are leaving the Amiga community entirely. Ex-Amiga users are always welcome here at Amiga.org.

@redrumloa
I'm certainly not dropping Amiga in any way. My original A1 had a CPU failure but was fixed by Acube quite some time ago so this one is spare.
