Hello,
I would know if the CDTV Keyboard can be connected to my
A1200T with PS2 port.
Thanks in advance...

No, the pinout is different.

Make an adapter first.

If the shipping is not too outrageous, I would love to have that black CDTV keyboard of yours. My CDTV is missing its keyboard.
Send me a PMail if you are going to sell it.

Hy!
You can connect the cdtv Keyboard directly to the 1200 Keyboard MPU.
http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=1908=10
You need to connect 4 wires and solder it on the mpu.....vcc which is 5 Volt ,keyboard clock, data and ground.
You don't have keyboard reset....i have a reset switch on the tp1 connector(Near the pcmcia slot)pin 1 and pin 2.
i still use the keyboard with cdtv cause i i made a 5 pin mini din connector for the 1200...so i can unplugg the keyboard and still use it with cdtv.
Hope u still got the cdtv keyboard and make it work..
good luck

The easiest way of connecting the CDTV keyboard to an A4000 or an A1200T is the following:
- Break the plastic pin from CDTV's PS2 plug (since it's kinda lower than the standard PS2 plugs
- Open the CDTV keyboard and locate the connector which the cable ends
- Unplug the plug from the connector and swith the leads "1 with 4" and "2 with 3" (To do so you need to slightly pull the plastic thing that holds every lead and easily it gets out)
- Plug the connector again and close the CDTV keyboard.
- Voila! It works like a charm in my DBox /w PCkey1200 (with the appropriate 5din to PS2 adapter

CDTV Keyboard can be connected to my A1200T with PS2 port.
Is it a real PS/2 port (i.e. works with PC keyboards) or is it just a MiniDin port for Amiga (A4000) keyboards?
Bye Bye Black Keyboard!
You could make an adapter for a few pence/cents?
Sell the CDTV black keyboard for many many pounds/euro's?
Buy a modern A1200T PS/2 keyboard adapter and whatever PC keyboard you like?

I have made an adapter for the CD32 to connect a CDTV keyboard.
Here there are some pinouts I used for this. (http://www.amiga.org/gallery/index.php?n=2173)
