just with pansalt :-D
simple but good.

I prefer 'em corn-bases, not potatoe based.
-
I think you mean crisps... anyway I don't really eat carbohydrates anymore, so I eat neither Chips or Crisps if I can help it...

White corn tortilla, unsalted, with a medium, chunky salsa (really hot stuff tends to get foamy and lose its flavor).

you mean fries, we mean chips. crisps over here are potato chips made from dehydrated potatoes. what you call chips we call steak fries. (and before it comes up french fries are potatoes cut french style- thin stips and then fried not the country of origin)
i like sunchips chedder ones, or french onion.

Silly English....
Anyway, I'd like my chips paprika, and ribbed-cut

I love poutine.

Chop the potatoes into large wedges, deep fry them in canola oil and serve them with a little salt and (malt) vinegar.

Tried that...
And I'm not eager to try that again :nervous:

Don't worry - all the carbohydrate will be cancelled out by all the fat!

Hahahahah, double whammy... Yeah, what's wrong with a nice bacon sandwich :-)

I love a bit of poontang too!
Actually, I did try that in Canada and I could feel the heart attack that's gonna kill me!

Nothing. There's nothing wrong with a bacon sarnie. It's when you have them every day that you'll get problems :-)
In all seriousness, I really don't think it's wise to cut out a whole food group. You need carbohydrate!

You're right, I should say, refined carbohydrate (including rice and potato).

Ahhh ok. You need glucose too - so have some bloody chocolate ;-)
Actually, I think chocolate is really good for you. It contains:
- Cocoa (a bean - probably one of your 5-a-day)
- Milk (high in calcium and protein)
- Sugar (comes from a plant so how bad can it be? Probably also counts as a vegetable!)
In other words, if you don't eat it you might die!

hehehe... so if we include a few cups of coffee (which contains several beans per cup), I'll be ultra healthy :-)
- Milk (high in calcium and protein)
Hmmm... true...
- Sugar (comes from a plant so how bad can it be? Probably also counts as a vegetable!)
Hahahahahahahahahaha!!

Even if I do eat it I'll die! Not a lot is going to stop that!

Yes that's true! Actually some recent research has shown that caffeine strengthens the blood-brain barrier, degeneration of which has been linked to dementia disorders like Alzheimer's.

It might if you eat enough of it. I'm going to try it and find out!

It may depend on if you want a good looking corps or not.
It I get Alzheimer's I may forget to die. :-D

If you get the best cuts of bacon, the ones with little or no fat then that's probably ok. The Irish have the best bacon, hands down, nice meaty cuts, not too saltly.

With all this talk about chips, I'm hungry now.

And for the Dr. Who fans....
