An answer from the other Birmingham!
Try cruciable, they've dealt in zip ram before. But, the A1200 doesn't use zip ram. Usually the ram has to go into an accelerator card. If your accl card uses zip ram, it is definately time to get a new accl for that 1200!!! 030 accl with simm sockets are going pretty cheap nowdays.

Hi, Targhan,
Thanks for the reply, I bought the A12OO off ebay, as a spare, it has got a Ram board in the trap door, and is populated with 2MB of zip ram.
i thought that i might just get the baby upto the full eight!(Steady Tiger) and use it for gaming and the like.
Looked at the cruciable site, but did not find anything, perhaps a museum might help ?
The other Birmigham? Alabama, COOL !!

Wow.. Zip ram in an a1200 ;-)
I think you'de be better off looking for an 030 accl with 8 - 32M of ram. Considering how much you would have to pay for zip ram (IF you could find it...).
Yeah! Birmingham Alabama here :-)

How many chips exactly do you need and what type? I may have some.

Yeah, your probably right, I will have to scour ebay and buy one of those Blizzards that pop up now and then.
I already have one in my main miggy 030/50,32mb :-D
Did you know we are having an Heatwave in dear old blighty ?.
Then i suppose that aint nothing new to y`all.
:-D

Hi Red,
just opened the miggy up, and got one of the zips out,the number is HM514400BZ7,KOREA9419,B003FFF.
and on the board it states:fit 8 1mb x 4 zips B1 for 4 mb.

@browny
As soon as I can dig mine out I will get back to you. Do you know if these are the same as typical A3000 zips?
