hi am l missing something here l brought a scandisk 2 gb
says its type 1 card whatever that means
l thought you formated the disk as it was hardrive with rdb
l tryed few times using os4 classic and media program
no luck keeps saying cant format.
put it into pc and formats like its a floppy at 2gb
l just wanted to try running a amiga 1200 booting of the cf disc or running it on my amiga ppc to see if avis whould play better insteed of using the slow ide hardware

I've been running a 1200 with a 4g CF.
I partitioned and formatted it with Winuae, copied my files to it and went from there, have you tried using Winuae to set it up?

This (http://www.amigabr.org/modules/newbbex/viewtopic.php?viewmode=flat&topic_id=15&forum=20) is I wrote (from another Czech forum). It's a list of CF devices which works (or not) with Amigas (in brazilian portuguese...). Hope it helps!
BTW: there is a small "patch" to use in HDInstTools (http://www.amigabr.org/modules/mydownloads/singlefile.php?cid=0&lid=2H) for CF on EAB who worth a look...

So now the CF is working? Good!
Don't worry. Try to help other people too, as nobody knows everything. Some like "spread the word".:-D
