how about to christen again the old amiga chipset name for the amigaone system (agnus, Paula, Denise , copper, blitter, etc) ;-)
-
I guess I would never know. I just knew the Paula cause thats what the audio drivers for some programs listed. :-D
-
Is this a bare faced attempt to get your postings total up ;-)
-
Or have I got the wrong end of the stick !
Only joking ;-)
-
There wouldn't be much point, as at it's core, the AmigaOne is just a PPC ATX motherboard, with (almost) no custom chips.
-Jar.
-
You could do that - but remember that you'd have to think of a name for ever co-processor hardware that the A1 can use :-)
-
Heh, better to settle for PCI IDs ;-)
For those who know their Ranma 1/2:
How about naming the ArticiaS "Charlotte"? ;-)
-
Charlotte? No way. Gudrun is the name.
Sincerely,
-Kenneth Straarup.
-
How about calling the ArticiaS "Grumpy"
and the south bridge... "Grandad" (since he's getting on a bit)...
Then it's up to you what you name the other chips because you choose them. (GFX, Sound, Networking etc...)
-
Why call ArticiaS grumpy? Whats the connection?
