Title: my a1200 wont play AGA games installed

I am using WHDload 16.4 on my amiga 1200 which ad 2mb memory and 8mb fast, 3.1 kickstart and workbench.

I installed Chaos Engine AGA version and when i start it on my h ard drive it says i need the AGA chip set but i have it as i got a 1200. It works fine on the disks.

can anyone help .. thanks

Is setpatch run in your startup-sequence?  Do you have other "AGA" features?  (i.e. can you set an AGA screenmode in Workbench?)

yep, exactly.  check your c:setpatch version and make sure it's called in the startup-sequence.

Make sure that you have a lot of Chipmem free !!
