Anyone know if cumana drive's are any good? Got one on the way off ebay.
Cheers

Wow... the last time I heard of Cumana it was external 5.25" floppy drives for BBC micros!
-
I had one for use with my A500 before I got an HDD (assuming you it's an external floppy you've got hold of).
It was very useful and didn't give me any problems at all.

LOL YUP i remember the cumana BBC micro drives
Its an external amiga drive, cost me £4.
:-)

I got one here. Very handy, when it comes to copy/transfer old 880KB floppies (my old A4000 internal needs some calibration/cleaning). There is an ON/OFF switch on the back, plus a floppy drive input (if you want to plug a 3rd-4rth drive in chain). It seems a very robust construction.

But then again you have not recieved it yet. :-D
You will be alright, so long as the seller has wrote `Fragile and handle with care on it.
Have you seen the way some of them posties re-act when they see that on the parcel.
Its like a red rag to a bull ! :-D :-D

lol no...
but for 4 squid (2 for drive 2 for pnp) its worth a risk
i doubt someone with a rating of 55* would risk 2 quid for bad rating.
