Hello guys,
do you know what kind of program is able to change or improve WB icons.
I only knowMagicWB,
What do you suggest to me after MagicWB?
Thanks

If you install PowerIcons you can use any PNG icon set in the world. There are some Amiga specific ones, such as Ken's Icons (www.five-star.com)

NewIcons.

First you need to install PowerIcons or (better, but can be fiddly to set up) AfA_OS. Once one of those is installed your Amiga will be capable of displaying PNG icons. This is just a PNG file renamed to have a .info extension, so if you want you can just get a PNG icon you like and rename it to .info, and it will show up as an icon on the Amiga. Ken's Icons contains a whole load of PNG icons with the extension already changed to .info. Your sig says you are using OS3.9, so you can just click on an existing icon, bring up the Information, then drag the new icon over the old one inside the Information window, and the image will be copied.

On Aminet I only see icons for PowerIcons and not the main file can you tell me what download?
thanks
-
This (http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/PowerIcons) is the download for PowerIcons. This (http://amidevcpp.amiga-world.de/afa_binarie_upload.php) is the home page for AFA_OS, which offers PNG icons (like PowerIcons) and also more features. Install either of them and reboot, then PNG icons will start working :-)

Installed but I click on the icon that wanna change, go to information in the menu icon ,drag into this window the new icon and nothing changes!!!
What can I do?
Thanks

So do you see the PNG icons correctly? And are you dragging the new icon over the top of the old icon within the information window? Also, are you using RAWBInfo? (the Information window replacement which will be in your WBStartup drawer if you are using it) If not then you can't replace icons by dragging, you will have to use something like CopyIcon (http://aminet.net/package/util/wb/CopyIcon44).

Actually I don't know how to make work CopyIcon, do appears 2 boxs:in the 1st box I can put an icon while in the 2nd one I can't .
How is it?
Thanks
-
It works fine with PNG icons here. Just drag the source icon in to the left side, then the destination icon in to the right side, and it should copy the PNG icon over the top of the old one. Note that it only works with icons which actually have a .info, not ones which only show in All Files view. The 2nd icon you drag never shows up in the CopyIcon window. It is just replaced with the one you can see in the left side of the window.

Left Box: Source
Right Box: Destination
Better....
Drag Icon Source in Left Box and Drag Icon Destination to Right Box...
:-D
