Title: SSL!!!
Post by: flaviosr on March 23, 2008, 09:39:09 PM
Hi,

does exist a guide for installing SLL programs (AmiSSL or MiamiSSL)?
I have installed AmiSSL but I do not know how to configure it! This seems the latest and more up to date program so I would like to use this...
I have also found origmiamisslintl.library and put in the MiamiDX directory, I installed MiamiSSL and I see that Ibrowse does see it... but there are no certicates! What have I to do? :-(
Please help...

Thank you

That's not the correct way to install MiamiSSL. Read the docs from the MiamiSSL package. The installer takes that .library and modifies it for use. You can get the original file from Vaporware's FTP site.

There shouldn't be anything to configure for AmiSSL - the installer should take care of everything. The 3 versions of AmiSSL aren't compatible with each other (so all three need to be installed for maximum compatibility), but they can easily co-exist on a single system and in the same directory. Just install them in order (v1, then v2, then v3)

EDIT: IBrowse doesn't display any certs for MiamiSSL, but it does work.
