Title: what is magic lantern for amiga?

Hi:

Magic Lantern for amiga on sale at ebay. Animation program for amiga. I never seen it before, can someone explain what it is and what it does?

It's an animation program that uses yet-another costom compression/playback format to play back a series of images. I think it's claim was to do 24 bit color, rather than using a color pallate like ANIM formats. I have it , but don't remember if it was RTG capable or not. The animation files are still huge, and I'm not sure you can get 30 frames/sec.

Still, was fun to play with.

Get a DCTV unit and run animations with millions of colors NTSC at 30 frames/sec on an Amiga 030/50mHz or 040/25mhz.  I have seen whole movies converted and playing back smoothly from hard drive in the DCTV format on an A3000D.
