Title: Max's BBS
Post by: Marcb on March 15, 2008, 05:52:48 AM
Hi,

Back in the late 80's early 90's I ran "Sollaris BBS" in Australia using Max's BBS software, even wrote a few doors for it.. (just recently I was surprised to find one on Aminet  )

I was wondering if anyone out there also ran a BBS on Max's?

Hi,

My bbs runs on Maxs'BBS (Pro), and I'm sure its the only one out there.

You can call/connect to it at telnet://sharkysbbs.ath.cx

But not many people using it anymore, so ive decided to close it down on monday. So if you want to check it out, do it this weekend.

I spent a lot of time cutomizing Maxx's for a board (I thought it was very configurable), but never coughed up for a second phone line.  Then the net took off.
