Doesn't WHDLoad give an error message? And do you actually have the kickstart images installed next to the skick files?

Then the answer is no. You need to have the actual images of the kickstart roms there as well. So look for a 1.3 rom image and rename like it's called in the docs of the game install.

Copy some actual Kickstarts into Devs:Kickstarts. The SKick package is only a set of support files for rekicking a different Kickstart into RAM.

Grab a 1.3 and a 3.1 Kickstart from one of your machines or Amiga Forever (AF ROMs will have to be decrypted by regrabbing them from within the emulation). The 1.3 image should be named kick34005.A500 and the 3.1 should be named kick40068.A1200 or kick40068.A4000, depending on what machine it's from.
