Title: A3000 for a Wii
Post by: jj on March 14, 2008, 10:05:36 PM
I know somebody who has been offered an A3000 with 8mb ram, 1 mb chip, and merlin gpu and zorro catweseal.  Think the rest mchine pretty stock.  Dont know the rom version, or what proc card is in it etc...

Is this a fair trade ?

Maybe in Ebay dollars...

The A3000 is a collectors item, so it's value will vary wildly depending on who is buying it.  But if it is clean, complete, and everything works perfectly with no damage from the battery on the motherboard, it can go for $400 up on Ebay.  But you have to hurry before everybody who wants one has one.

I'd say it's a bad deal for whoever's giving up the 3000 :-)

Remember that someday Nintendo will catch up with Wii production, and you'll be able to get one anywhere for $250 or less.  There's only so many A3000's to go around, especially if it's in great condition.
