Have anyone gotte it to work yet?
This is as far as I get(Shell Output):
11:Your wish is my command> dctc --nick=[BBB]GPT --cnx=LAN(T3) --share=HD4: --hubip=ultrafiber.no-ip.com:22
INFO ] ""Direct Connect Text Client v0.84.1|
hubip: ultrafiber.no-ip.com hubport: 22
Using as localhost IP.
How do I enter commands? Or am I missing something?

I dont know ,but i use the easier pc version and also dc++. :-o
-
I think so to, but that's because the pc versions has got a nice working gui.
But I want to try to change that by creating a gui for dctc, if I can figure out how to get it to work properly.

When you are connected, from the shell type "/TheCommand" ....
but DCTC doenst work properly... the commands for search/download are broken...
Kind Regards.
PS.: anyway, dont worry about FileSharing on Amiga... I m finishing a multi-p2p-protocol client, currently it is working and being verified by some betatesters :-)
-
If you want any more betatesters... I'm interested ;-)

Too bad the search/download doesn't work... and none of the dc-clients for Amiga seems to complete. I know there's been couple in the making, but they're all "stalled" :/ I've been missing DC client for long time for Amiga. And now even my pc broke down.. using DC was the only purpose for it :)

Aha!! I found you. Whats the status on your program? Nearly finished?

If you're not already into it: I'd recommend mldonkey be ported to the amiga. It should be
possible to do the mlnet part first. As this part does not have to have any gui for it's work, just provides a web-frontend for browsers, it may not pose too much trouble.

@jahc
Well, (the first beta) is already "finished"... only I need to fix (at least ;) one serious bug, (it causes the system to crash irremediably... :(
To let all know this FileSharing system, consists mainly of two components: a Server/Daemon and a Client.
The server is a port of the unix tool giFT... the client was made native using MUI. The supported networks at this moment are: Kazaa, Gnutella, Napster and OpenFT (Edonkey under developend..).
more info to come soon, at http://amigift.sf.net/
Kind regards.

@scholle
that would require a port of the language Ocaml first.
