The latest Mediator 1200 TX is now available and in stock:

So, given the choice of the following systems which would benefit more from the Mediator now that the TX has arrived? Both of these systems run OS4.

Amiga 4000T CSPPC 604/060-233/50 or
Amiga 1200 Blizzard PPC 603/040-160/25 with Bvision ?

Does you A4000/Cyberstorm system have any graphics card already?

The Mediator 1200 TX will benefit your system in future when used AmigaOS4.0

The A4000T CS system currently has a Picasso IV installed. I also have the Cybervision 64/3D/Scan Doubler combo available as well as a spare PC Voodoo 3000 PCI (not installed in anything).

@Jeff

The Mediator TX is A1200 only but if you want to get a Mediator, then get one for your A4000 because the faster CPU and 64-bit memory interface will always beat the BPPC.

@amigakit

Any chance of getting some benchmarks up to show how it compares with the older Mediator boards.

Elbox have given one for my own Amiga so I'll hook it up this weekend and test  However the forthcoming next update of OS4 (http://amigakit.leamancomputing.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=764) is geared towards this board- so full benchmarks wont be available until this sees the light of day.
