Yup! They are on sale (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180221729871)! I expect them to sell like hotcakes, or rather pancakes since this is AO :-P

I salute you for selling these at a reasonable amount of dollars, I had one of these but it was never my thing..
Any new and boxed The Arcade joysticks available? The original one, with one fire button :-D

@Krusher
Naah, just these Competition Pros as they are made new by Individual Computers. Impossible to source new joysticks unless someone like Jens puts their neck out and commissions a huge production run.
Oh and the cost is actually a small loss for me at this point with this sale, considering the massive ebay/paypal fees. Not complaining though, I want to get some of these in people's hands. The USD is not getting any stronger, so prices in the US will just keep going up :-(

Moulding a joystick is serious business moneywise, so I understand, the electronics is cheap though (couple of microswitches) But yes you are right, the $ is losing it's value (nice for EU people though) and I understand Euro's are accepted as an alternative in New York stores? :-o These are strange days..

I'd love one, unfortunately postage to Australia is $36!
Don't suppose anyone is heading to the US and would like to pick up a few of these for Aussie buyers?
Cheers,
Mike.

That international shipping cost is quoted for eBay users, to safeguard me against international fraud. Unfortunately PayPal will not refund unless tracking is used and only USPS International Express gives tracking.
For established AO users I can ship other ways internationally as I trust most established AO users. PM me for a shipping quote if you wish, let me know how many you want and what country. I'll quote an amount and you can adjust in PayPal checkout.
As an example one joystick to Austrailia I can ship for $17, two for $26.

Shipping calculator was broken, it is now fixed.

There is a shipping calculator at the bottom of the page which should be working now, it wasn't working before. To NY you would have the following options for 4 joysticks.
US $13.33 for quantity 4.
US Postal Service Parcel
PostĀ® Estimated delivery 2-9 days*
(insurance $2.05 Optional)
US $16.60 for quantity 4
US Postal Service Priority MailĀ®
Estimated delivery 2-3 days*
(insurance $2.05 Optional)
Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Our local Amiga reseller also sells new Competition Pro joysticks for 17,50e and Competition Pro USB versions for 19,50e. USB versions are also commonly available from many PC-stores. I have one in my Pegasos... the quality of these newly manufactured joysticks aren't as good as in old times, but they're ok.

I own both for personal use also. I found the USB version to be total garbage, to be completely honest. The retro version I am very pleased with.
Just my $0.02.
