Hello,
since I am novice I would like to know how would work the WHDLoad.
1) Do I have to search the installer for each specific game?
2) Would work only with original floppy disks or is enought tranfer and adf to floppy to be read?
Many Thanks

Hi there,
You can download the installers for games from the WHDLoad website, or if you look online you can find pre-installed games from some websites, so long as you have the original game it's legal to download and use (I think).
Most installers need the original versions of the games on floppy disk, some also support titles that were in bundles or re-released on a budget label. You can either use the original floppies, or write the ADF or DMS back to a real floppy, and install it that way.
You'll also need a kickstart rom image, you can grab yours by using Grabkick from aminet.
Hope this helps,
Robert

Do I need the kickstart image for a real Amiga too?
I am not using UAE!
What Percentage of the not original games would work with WHDLoad?
Thank You Very Much!

Yes, you need the older kickstart images in order to run WHDload.

I'd recommend you..
1) install the whdload archive from www.whdload.de
2) search google for already installed games, shouldn't be too hard! I know they exist.
3) Check this link for info on getting the kickstart files set up.
