Anybody know of software for the SC-55 that could run on my amiga? This has to be software that links directly up to my sc-55

hmmm... looks like the SC-55 conforms to the GM General MIDI standard. you should be able to control it with anything from octamed sound studio, to music-X, and Delux music construction set. now there's a blast from the past.
just need a midi interface and some cables. If you get really wizzy at understanding MIDI protocols, you may be able to upload and download audio samples to and from the device using Music-X or Sound Studio... but i dunno if the SC55 can allow for that...

Tnx for the reply. But the thing im looking for is software to edit it. I have that for windows.
The sc55 is already connected to the amiga through a midi interface and it works together with bnp and octamed

I have the SC-155 (same thing in a different case w/sliders).
I don't know about editing. Perhaps that MIDI editing software on that YoungMonkey site (do a google search for YoungMonkey and Amiga).
The SC-55 is not really editable. It's not a synth, but rather a "tone module". I mean, you can sort of tweak some of the parameters (like chorus, reverb, ADSR, etc.) but it doesn't remember these when you shut it off.
Bars & Pipes has a tool just for controlling patch changes in the SC-55. I love it for that.
The Patchmeister might have a librarian for the SC-55....but on the other hand I'm not sure why it would need it, as it's not really an editable box.
