...just unfortunately not on Amiga :(
Looking through the net, I found (from Amiga-news.de I think) a link to a MS page about its smartphone content using Amiga-Anywhere...so just out of interest I checked out its listed competitors..and unfortunately the news isn't good, and the software is already behind! Hope they bring out an update soon! Maybe with Intent 2?
I also found the following webpage
http://www.fathammer.com/games/games.shtml
Fathammer is a games company who are designing games using one of our rivals software solution...some really good and interesting looking games are listed...
But check out the bottom one - looks like an enhanced Stunt Car Racer...awesome! Download the movie teaser if you dont believe me - we need more games like this!
Ideas?

very nice.

Ideas? I have one.. RJ Mical works for Fathammer. Name ring a bell? =)

Geoff Crammond is also reportedly working on Stunt Car Racer 2 for the PC. I saw some press release from a software company about it ages ago. It was reported in these forums, too.
Incidentally, that mobile version of super monkey ball looks interesting. Super Monkey Ball (and Super Monkey Ball 2) are probably my current favourite Gamecube games (they are the killer app that made me buy one, tbh).

Yep, was mentioned a few months back here (http://amiga.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44284)

my 0.02 cents: I bet RJ rather co-operates with Genesi...
(and the reason is not that Ami3d/Warp3D for intent competes with Fathammer's 3D library...)

A nice hello to you all out there from Germany...
I'm not quite sure, but wasn't "Stunt Car Racer" in any relation to a Mindscape game called "4D Sports Driving" aka "Stunts"? The last has been very popular on PeeCee but was also available for AMIGA machines (it fascinated me so much that I bought the Amiga version in 1996, and the .trk track file format was compatible to the one on PC so we could exchange them via DD-floppies). It was a pity Mindscape just seemed to have ported the PC version to Amiga lazily so even on my 25MHz (68k30) A2000 I had to disable some graphics for smooth gameplay.
Now, there are two enhanced freeware clones being developed for PC (keeping the old track format as well):

You should have a look at them. See ya next time!
