I got an A1200 with Mediator PCI SX in D-BOX 1200 TOWER case and I see only the Power Connector and don't know where connect the Reset Key of the case.
any idea?
Thanks

Is there even one?
-
???
-
I think only the TX mediator features a Hardware Reset/Power switch...
-
It does not have one it was meant yo be used together with a fast ata that has one .. Or just the Pcmcia fix with reset pins....
-
My 1200 in Infinitiv tower case has a reset switch on the case but nowhere to connect to either
I have to use the standrad Amiga nerve pinch to reset it

You can connect the reset switch to pins 9&0 of TP1 (requires soldering the headers).

@Zac67
What is the TP1 ?
Thanks
-
What's wrong with Ctrl, A + A? :-?
-
The TP1 is, like the name says, test pins.
They are in the leftmost point of the motherboard, under the PCMCIA connector.
What you need is join TP1 pins 9 & ten to provide a hardware reset to the Amiga. They are the two leftmost "solder isles" on any A1200.
-
where is located TP1 on the mobo or on the mediator?
-
TP1 is located on the mobo right below the PCMCIA port.
On untowered 1200s you might need to bend the new headers before soldering to fit the keyboard.
