Hi,
I've recently brought my Amiga 1200 back from the dead but no longer have my old monitor. Therefore I am using a scart lead I had previously to connect to my LCD TV. The picture however looks very blocky. My tv has a VGA input connector too, so would the quality be much better using VGA compared to SCART?
If so, would the following adapter work?

Thanks for your help and advice :-)

The image quality should be the same either way. If you need higher resolutions, try experimenting with different monitor drivers from the sys:storage/monitors/ directory on your hard drive (assuming you have installed to a hard drive).

Do note though that this VGA adapter won't give PAL or NTSC screens, hence no games!

i've used both and the scart option gives me clear pictures in super hi res mode that other adaptor won't.
