I saw an ad on seattle's craigslist for a free A1000 with external drive and mouse. I thought, cool I can use one as I have a spare A1000 keyboard collecting dust. I respond and it's mine, I go pick it up this evening. Upon collecting the dusty and dirty A1000 the man tells me the history of the machine. He was an Amiga artist who worked one some well known games back in the day!!!!
Aaargh!

Here is his page on HOL:

But they misspelled his last name, it begins with a 'H'
Yes he tells me he did some of the graphics for these games on this very Amiga! Pretty cool I might say... :)
He also did a game called Pocoman! and he gave me a copy of the original disk! He also said I can release it to the community for free, which I will once I dump it.
-edit-
Found the game on HOL!

But his name is not on there? Hmmm...

The HOL sight that you listed states the programmer of the Pocoman game as being Hannover Fist. Hannover Fist was the name of some software pirates who sold pirated Amiga and C-64 games and software in the late 80's and early 90's. I used to see them at HamFest's here in Michigan all the time. This must have been a pirated version of the game that HOL had. What does your original disk say?

That's awesome!!!! I've been watching that Ad a long while. Thinking about having my brother pick it up for me but I didn't know if I'd get a keyboard for it.
If I'd only known. :-)
Congratulations. Someone should add that to a history somewhere.

Did you get his work disks too?

Was his game never released?

The HOL guys would surely appreciate a scan of the actual floppy for the HOL entry.
Also SPS may want a copy of the disk for their archive.
