Title: Notification option changed to Email by itself...

I've just noticed that my notification option has reverted to Email. I’m wondering if anyone else has just had this happen?

Everyone had it happen.  It happened before, it'll happen again.  If I had a way to disable the "notifications by pm", I'd do that.

Something about 90,000 PM's per week clogging up the database makes the site very sad...  :)

Ah. Then I suppose that the problem (In part) relates to the fact that I personally use PM's as notifications ;-)

Unfortunately I never receive any notification emails when it’s set to emails (I’m using AOL, probably some trap at AOL is eating all the notifications :-) ). The only reason I've noticed that its changed is due to notifications not appearing for threads that have been posted on.

Notifications are for wimps, real men hit refresh... and again... and again... and again.. ;-)
