Title: OS4 classic installation problem

I'm trying to install OS4 classic with no CDROM on a1200 by playing with assign, virtualcd.. etc
Is it impossible?

This is why i did not get arround to installing it too ... I would like to know the answer too-.. Or get a PCMCIA CD DRIVE

Just copy the System folder contents to the root of your OS4 partition. Boot from that partition, set your keyboard, locale and timezone prefs, and you're golden.

Edit: Forgot to say, delete any unneeded monitor files from Devs:Monitors.

that works like a charm, I'm grateful.


BTW, I didn't even have to delete those monitors.
It sure looks good, but slow on AGA.


edit: Just one small note, I think we should use
:Installation-Files/Startup-Sequence
(instead of :System/S/Startup-Sequence)
