Title: 3000T and 3.1 Roms

Hello All. I was home over the holidays and found my 3000T sitting in my parents attic. Anyway to make a long story short over the years my Mom decided I didn't need any of my amiga stuff and it unsystematically threw most of it away. Anyway I have the 3000. I bought mouse and keyboard off ebay. I had 2.0 roms and Wb 2.1 installed. The main HD I had OS on is dead. I ordered 3.1 roms and os 3.1 from amigakit. I had 2 other HD's with programs on it before I shut it down in 95. My 1st question is will have have any problems seeing the other HDs with 3.1 or should I get it up and running on 2.1 before switching roms. Also my workbench disks got thrown away over the years. I have searched and searched and can not find wb disks for 2.1. Does anyone know where I could get them? Also any tips on rom installation would be helpful.

You should have no problems with the HD's as long as
they were formatted under Amiga file format.

Rather than OS 3.1, why not just go directly to OS 3.9.
With the 3.1 roms you'll have no problems and OS 3.9
will reconize the old HD's.

vesalia (http://www.vesalia.de/) sells WB2.1 :-)

But, if you upgrade to kickstart 3.1, them you could buy workbench 3.1 from amigakit.

You are luckey to have a A3000T, I know for sure that I would like one  :-D

Great expansion options and internal scandoubler.. Neat!!

Check for a leaking battery immediately, lest your machine dies a painful scaring death...

No working CD right now.. Will go to 3.9 once I have it back up and running. I checked the battery.. All is clean..

 Then remove it ASAP! For the SCSI nvRAM, use the lithium hack  there is on aminet.
