Title: Best two player CD32 games?
Post by: motorollin on February 11, 2008, 04:01:52 PM
I've got my CD32 all set up now (thanks tokyoracer :-D) and I've made extension cables for both controllers. I'm trying to get my other half roped in to some two-player armchair action (not nearly as dirty as it sounds). So far I've got:

- Alien Breed Tower Assault
- Worms
- Naughty Ones
- Chaos Engine
- Rise of the Robots
- Roadkill

I've also got Exile and Beneath a Steel Sky, which although are both one player games could be fun to work through with two people.

So, what are your favourite two-player CD32 games?

Alien Breed Tower Assault it's a very good multiplayer game, and I like Sensible Soccer also. A lot of fun!

@foleyjo
Thanks for the suggestions. I'll have a look at them.

@Phantom
Oops forgot to mention I've got Sensi. Think I'll fire up AB and try to coerce the other half in to a 2 player game :-)

Skeleton Krew was cool 2-player.  Interesting idea too...

Lemmings could be fun. Don't know if the CD32/CDTV versions support 2 players, though.

From the top of my head: Speedball II, Death Mask, Super Skidmarks, Shadow Fighter, Banshee, Fightin' Spirit, IK+ (lol), Pinball Illusions, Pinball Prelude, Roadkill and  Super Stardust (well, not really two player, but a must have nevertheless ;-) )

I was having problems burning Super Stardust, but got it sorted.

@Stevo
Will give those games a look - thanks. Speedball II looks awesome.

Speedball II might be, along with Sensible World Of Soccer, the best two player game on Amiga ever.

Ah, and get The Chaos Engine, pretty much rocks as well.

My best games 2-player game is Worms. Lotus Trilogy would be fun too but it's damn hard to get :roll:.

I thought Roadkill was one player only? :-?

I have the same thought. Even if it's a 2 player game, surely it's not multiplayer.

Cannon Fodder.  Just take turns with a bottle of vodka and some smokables.  You`ll be up all night pulling ur hair out by level 7.

Works for me!!

(BTW, use a mouse lol)
