Hi, i`m trying to get workbench 3.9 installed on winUAE for the first time. Normally i don`t do emulators, but i thought i`d give it a go for a laugh.
Question is, where do i get a 3.1 disk image from? Is there a way to get one, or at least something that`ll fire up workbench? (When i saw the animated disc at the start i stared at it for about a minute - hadn`t seen it in years!!)
Help please.

Why do you need a 3.1 disk image? If you have OS3.9, use AmiKIT to get it installed.

Don`t like the look of that... might hold out for a 3.1 image.
Cheers anyway.

You don't have to keep using AmiKIT, just use it to create a new HD file, set up a vanilla OS3.9, then use that instead. One major advantage of AmiKIT is that it is a painless way to get a working Amiga environment, even if you don't want to use it in the long run.
Edit: Do you have a real Amiga? If you do, you could connect it's HD to the PC and boot from that. Also, you obviously have a Kickstart image, couldn't you get 3.1 from the same source?

Using AmiKit just to get 3.9 installed is a pretty ridiculous way to go. Search the web for a WB3.1 disk, theyre very easy to find.
