"A total of 539 people are being taken off the Safe Scandinavia in an operation involving 13 helicopters and a fixed wing aircraft.
They are being transported to other rigs in the area.
The operation, 130 miles off the Aberdeen coast, began at 0920 GMT on Sunday and is being co-ordinated by Grampian Police."

Hello chums! I haven't been on Amiga.org since September, has the planet been taken over by chimps yet?
Heard about that oilrig thing, the first Ceefax article said a woman threatened to blow up the rig and was sedated... it went quiet after that. I initially thought blobrana might have hijacked the platform.
