Dear Amiga friends:
I am a hobbyist animator/programmer,
www.feryogi.com
A few weeks ago I posted I was thinking about making new games for amiga, and got many answers here on amiga.org
I will probably make a few new games in the future.
I just decided that all my amiga games will be giftware, basically that they will be 'free', but if you like them, then you will send me a nice gift.
I will strive to make the best possible quality for my games, and hopefully gain support from the amiga community.
Thank you!!!

@rednova
Know what we need?
SIMON
Connect 4
FRUIT Slot Machine (in the quality of Slam Tilt)
We need a SIMON game that looks awesome and is crisp and clear and uses the CD32 pad or SEGA genesis PAD as well as the Arrow Keys on the Keyboard.
It must be instant Gratification! there are 2 good ones for the Amiga but they are not that good because the response is not instant. Specifically the one by DawnBringer. The other one is instant but it is PAL and only works with the mouse.
Also a Nice Connect 4 would be awesome in 640 x 400 (but overscan 720x480 or 704x455) Hires Interlaced.
ADVICE: use the game OUTFALL as your reference for every game you make. Why you ask?
because it is the only game that does proper PAL and NTSC switching, which which means if you create all your games this way, you will only need one version.
Get the Game OUTFALL (even the Demo) and use specifically the Commodore 1084s D2 monitor in RGB mode...........swithc the game from PAL to NTSC..........you will not notice a change at all whatsoever! its very amazing.in other words the screen doesnt shrink or go up or borders get cut off.none of that.
its possible in PAL countries this may be different if 1084s Monitors are desinged different.
I believe you can create nearly perfect games by just following certain standard guidelines. (learning from other peoples mistakes)

Go(o)d news and i'm lloking forwared to hear about your progress and plans!!! :banana:

Very good news indeed !
Please make some remake of old games like "Knightmare", "Yie ar Kung Fu" or "Road Fighter" all by Konami from the MSX1, I think you can make an easy and fast converdion since these games are technically simple, but yet very playable and addicting !
Thanks anyway, I will be of those who will send you a gift if one of these title see the light of day on Amiga ! ;-)
Good luck dude !

All i am asking is make the games good easy as that and if you can loads of unlockables ... well ok thats another thing i am asking for :D

We need a good fast loading and fast playing Klondike Solitaire card game. The Reko game is slow, the cards are mostly hard to read, and the music drives you nuts :). The WallyWare PD version from Aminet and Fred Fish is better but still lacking. Just play the Solitaire that comes with Windows and you will have a good idea of what we need.

@Egg-Chen
Wow, you are so right! Yie Ar Kung Fu was the best Fighting game for the Commodore 64, thats for sure...as a matter of fact, it was what seemed accidentally better and faster than the arcade version! The arcade sucks!
It is even better than most fighting games on the Amiga. Yie Ar Kung Fu was darn speedy and fun and proper.
I think they had a Part 2 wich sucked.
@dannyp1
You are also right, we could use a darn good and fast reaction Card game. But just so that you know..........since you live in USA like me, try playing Klondike 1, and Klondike III in NTSC mode! Its easy.get a tool on Aminet called NTSC4NTSC
its actually a Command...........then type this to execute it if running it on an AGA machine:
NTSC4NTSC FORCENTSC
then load Klondike and whalla! NTSC klondike! much easier to read and play and less flicker. Also if you set your Workbewnch to be More Overscan, you wont have to scroll around so much. AND.......if you get a NORMAL Cardset for Klondike III, it looks wayyyyy better. Try Finding the STANDARD card set I think its called, they look like a real card deck.
Also, they have an ECS Klondike for the A600 and A500.........It has a different name that I cant remember this second. I think its SmartCardz
And..........there there is a really really good one that runs on Workbench called Soliton which is better than Windows solitaire if you configure it with the right look using MUI and certain card set.

Dear Amiga Friends:
I will take into account all your replies.
My favorite kind of games is: simulation/strategy/roleplaying, and that is the games I want to make for amiga. But maybe I can make all of the games you want to see...just give me time to do them one at the time. This way, little by little..many new amiga games will arrive from me :lol:
Cheers!!!
