Hey all, I'm trying to install magic workbench on my A500, I've tried the registered and the demo versions. What happens is, I run the installer, and all the text skips through really quickly and then it says installation aborted at the end. I've also tried it with my A2000 under OS 3.9, and no problem like that occurs.
My A500 is a + model, with 2mb chip and 4mb fast on a GVP sidecar.

Consider upgrading to the latest version of installer

Invest in another 4mb fast and a KS3.1 ROM

I have found the problem, the installer for Magic Workbench uses the tool IconX. The version of IconX that comes with workbench 2.1 will not run the magic workbench installer correctly.
So, I removed IconX from workbench 2.1, and replaced it with IconX from the Workbench 2.04 disk, and it all installed properly and works nicely.
