Is there any way to have video players play smoothly under P96?
No overlay or anything available?
Also which formats can I expect to be able to play ilbm anim, qt and mpeg? No divx? ;)

Frogger ??.
CPU = ???

I tried FroggerNG for WOS with PPC codecs.
It was jerky pic, perfect sound.
The PPC is 180mhz.

AMP2 is the best, but froggerng supported more formats. MooVid is very good and fast with divx as well, but won't decode xvids.

I find Riva works really well with MPEG's.
Dan :-D

That's a RTG GFX card, not software right?

errr...no, that's en mpeg player for 68k, can't compare it with ppc players, but it's very good and fast for 68k. You must have mistaken it with Riva gfx cards from nvidia....

So software vise now it seems like this:
- Riva (?)
- FroggerNG (requires key file)
- AMP2 (requires key file)
- MOOVID (?)
And supported formats are: MPEG, QT, DIVX, Real.
I'm not sure about: WMV
Not supported: XVID.
Fair summary?
