Title: Amiga PPC emulation?
Post by: woz on July 25, 2003, 04:21:37 PM
Hi.
Anyone know if it's at all possible to emulate a PPC Amiga, as it's virtually impossible, or very expensive now to get hold of a PPC card for the Amigas, also they'r really slow now, great when Phase 5 brought them out though.  I'd love to be able to play Amiga-Wipout 2097 again, truly the best version out.  :-)

PowerPC emulation on x86 isn't likely to be very fast compared to the real thing.

If you want to play Wipeout 2097, it probably runs under MorphOS on a Pegasos, and *may* run under OS4 on an AmigaONE (once its out).

Yes, it's quite easy to emulate a PPC amina on a Pegasos running MorphOS. ;-)
