Title: Beneath A Steel Sky CD32 on BTTR
Post by: motorollin on January 29, 2008, 07:52:38 PM: I have downloaded this game and burned to a CD. The game boots and I get to the language selection screen, but I can't move the pointer to select a language. is this really the CD32 version, or the Amiga version on a bootable CD32 disc?

Post by: Matt_H on January 29, 2008, 08:44:43 PM: The CD32 version will choke on anything other than a plain, stock, PAL CD32. If you've got an SX1 it needs to be disabled, and NTSC machines need to be booted into PAL.

AFAIK the SCUMMVM version (which came with Ubuntu) that I have does not have voices.

Yes, but ScummVM will play the CD32 version perfectly.
