Title: Prelude, AHI, AmigaAMP
Post by: arnljot on January 28, 2008, 09:18:38 PM
When AHI is set to use 44k1 hz, all is fine. But when I set it to 48k hz, then the AHI test tone and AmigaAMP plays at half speed.

Also, on the other, old, partition install, AHI shows Prelude:Fast modes, and Prelude:HiFI modes. But on the new one I only have Hifi mode, no fast mode... What gives?

I think the halfspeed thing is because most MP3s are encoded at 44100khz, so the cpu has to rework it somehow to get the output to 48000khz, best just to leave it at 44100khz :-)

I'm not sure what the different Hifi and Fast modes have, but I always used to use HiFi anyway :-)
