My joy and pride: Wing Commander (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=320205314545&_trksid=p3984.cWON.m313.lVI)
My problem: R/W error on disk two. Disk one is okay, but I haven't gotten around to test disk three.
My solution?
Software Preservation Project?
I've tried to read their homepage (www.softpres.org)
But I can't find out if they can supply me with me with an IPF backups.
So what do I do?
PS I DO NOT BLAME THE SELLER AS THESE ARE OLD DISKS!

ADFs and writing those to other disks? A 2 second google session will find them for you.
And why would you put your pride and joy on Ebay :p.

I'm the buyer on that auction (winning bid)! :)
I was hoping that someone knew Softpres(former CAPSI) and knew how they handle these things. Seems more "propper" than to go to piratebay or such plases where you don't know for sure if that one adf you're looking for is inside.

Ah! Congratulations =). I had Wing Commander as part of a compilation which included the dire Megatraveller Elite Plus. I had loads of fun playing Wing Commander, very atmospheric, I'd put on a cap and a headset and pretend to be a real pilot =).
As far as I know the Software Preservation project is a strictly hoarding-project and not sharing (what exactly the point of preserving it if nobody can actually get at the software is something which puzzles me, but nevermind).
Being an evil little pirate seems to me the only sensible way to replace that messed up disk.
