Title: The Jumpdisk Preservation Project
Post by: DigitalQ on January 26, 2008, 03:35:53 AM
Calling all Jumpdisk fans!  I'm currently creating an archive of all Jumpdisks ever made.  As you may or may not know, Jumpdisk was the first Amiga disk magazine ever, and was also probably the last.  The quality and content was superb; it was really something to look forward to every month.  Oh, and it was NOT just another PD disk.

Enjoy what I have to offer, and please dig out and DMS those old Jumpdisks for me!

I'm sure all of mine are bad already.  But check on EAB (http://eab.abime.net), there was a thread about Jumpdisk images recently.

I suspect that "DigitalQ" and "EAB:Toronto" are one and the same judging by the URL for the Jumpdisk project  :-)

Actually, no; there's more than one Amiga user in Toronto, and I'm not in Toronto.  I'm in Oshawa, which isn't too far from Toronto.  I just signed up to EAB today, hoping that others there will help me flesh out the entire collection for the world to enjoy.

Thanks for the tip, adolescent!

I've got 10 of these scanned and converted to .adf format. I tried to visit your site but the url timed out.... maybe later.  Incidentally, there were other disk magazine like AMnews that ran for a while.

I know this post is quite old but any chance anyone still has a working link to the JumpDisk ADFs?

UPDATE: Found them elsewhere.
