Title: Creating Animations on an Amiga / WINUAE
Post by: mgerics on January 18, 2008, 07:30:29 PM
Hi guys. My son got a digital camera for Christmas and wanted to do his own stop motion video. We have the pix downloaded as jpg.

What can I use on the Amiga to make a video out of these ?

We did it once before..I used buildanim, I'm pretty sure. I had to convert the pix to ILBM with GFXCON (HAM or GRAYSCALE I think) then made the anim. Then we used something to convert it to a QT file. (Berkely encoding?)

It was so long ago, I forget what I did and exactly what I used!

Now I get get guru or lock up when I issue the buildanim command.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

ImageFX will do this in a batch mode (convert frames to an ANIM or MPEG1 movie).

Any tutorials around for this?

Sorry, not that I know of.  It's in the manual, and possibly the built in help too, though.

Hmm. I got it to run under WINUAE, but the rendering is yucko, all garbage. Have to do some digging.

Thanks!
