I am cleaning up my office and have a pile of Amiga / CBM stuff that I cannot bring myself to throw away and I really don't want to go through the trouble of shipping it.
I have:
Amiga 1200HD (with magic pack box)
1942 monitor
flakey mouse
a couple of power supplies
GVP math coprocessor/ram board (unpopulated)
A520
Commodore 64
Commodore 1541
Commodore 64c (keyboard damaged)
misc disks, books, and other softwares
cables
joysticks
piles of misc. crap that I don't even know what all I have including C64 carts, Atari 800 carts, books, disk cases etc.
Most everything works. The 1541 is a bit temperamental.
First person willing to drive to the Lexington area with $100 takes it all.
If nobody wants it, it goes in the garbage in a few days and I will probably get drunk and cry.

Why oh why do we not have people like that in Japan :-( I hope you can find some nice homes for them!

Had I actually had a job that paid me a near living wage, i wouldn't mind plunking down $100, and spending the 5 hours to do the 282.68 miles (454.929362 kilometer) drive.
But now I have too many priorities, alas play things aren't even in the top 40 of things to spend my money on. Had this been about 5 years ago, I would have jumped on it, but now..
That's life.

It must be something in the air, or water... I have seen several such posts here, and am using an A1000 with 4.5Mb of RAM and a 540 Mb SCSI hard drive thanks to such an offer right now!

@ami_junki
From what I hear, there are no second hand shops in Japan because the Japanese just don't want used stuff. So, consequently, there is lots of good used furniture to be found in the garbage. Maybe it's the same with computers?
