Title: Autoplay CCDA
Post by: wurzel on January 14, 2008, 11:04:41 PM
Hi guys,

I used to have Groovyplayer (a CD player) automatically start when I put a CD in the drive. I think it's something to do with Def Icons?

Anyway, now, all I get is an icon on workbench, CDDA (CD0).

I use Atapi.device, unit 1 and I can read/write CDs ok, but I just can't get autoplay CDs.

Has anyone any suggestions how to do this?

Thanks in advance.

Check the audio, external player and path settings in CDFSPrefs.  (Sorry I can't be more specific since I'm away from my Amiga.  :-()

Thanks for the suggestion, but there aren't any external player prefs to set in that, nor CachCDFS which I use.

In CDFSPrefs there is an "Audio" menu for these settings.  Should be the same if you're using OS3.5 (or later) or even older IDEFix.

Aha! I never thought to look for a menu. Found it and fixed, thanks very much :)

Now it works fine.
