Post by: ematech on January 12, 2008, 08:10:23 PM
Dear Bill, 2 millions of peoples are tired.

your last conference in Las Vegas definitely destroy the future of Amiga philosophy.

Please accept the offer and leave the Amiga world.

We can pay you much.

Thanks

Ignore Bill and Amiga Inc, they aren't needed.
Open source projects like AROS and Minimig are the best way forward for the Amiga community.

But he doesn't say anything about AmigaOS 5. Only one news source carried this and then others picked it up. I don't think AmigaAnywhere 2 is where Amiga, inc. is heading with Amiga classic OS. That's AmigaOS 4 - We'll just have to wait until after the legal proceedings to see if they actually follow through on the new hardware from ACK controls. If it's not out soon after the wranglings, I'll join all the naysayers that seem to be trying to push us to AROS and MorphOS, etc. Which are great projects but don't seem to have the funding they need.

Divide that by 10 and you have a true figure for sure :-)

He talked about where he saw Microsoft and computing in general was headed after he stepped down.

Or did you mean some other Bill?

Check out Dammy's TeamAROS... there does seem to be quite healthy funding, I'd say :-)

This was probably the most expected and most disapointing announcement ever made...
