Title: OctaMED & External MIDI Controller
Post by: Tension on January 10, 2008, 11:01:05 PM
Is it possible to use a midi controller with OctaMED to control track levels, effects etc?

I am using: A4000, OctaMED Sound Studio, ProMIDI Interface, Casio MIDI Keyboard, Akai S3000XL Sampler.

Can anybody recomend a MIDI Controller for use with OctaMED?

Thanks!!

Have you asked on the OctaMED user's list? If the software can be configured to respond to arbitrary MIDI events/messages, you should be able to use whatever MIDI controller you want.

Octamed will listen for note events ( pitch, on/off, velocity, bend, etc), but I suspect the OP wants to use the multitude of knobs and sliders that cover modern MIDI controlers... Unfortunately octamed has no ability to learn these events.
