Title: Enable floppy fix without resintalling OS4
Post by: Dragster on January 07, 2008, 01:35:34 AM
Hi!

Fisrt post from IBrowse running on OS 4 :-D

I installed OS4 on my Amiga 1200, everyghing is working fine... however I missed the floppy fix selection, I thought this miachine did not need it as it's a commodore version and the floppy works just fine, but now that it's intalled it turns out there's no DF0:  so I guess I need to enable it but I don't wanna reinstall the OS 'cause I've already configured and installed a lot of things... does anyone know how to do it?

thanks!

You finally got it too!!

Okay!  I don't know the first thing about 1200's, and I didn't know anything about OS4 until I started playing with it.  But I learn fast.  Or I try to...

In Sys:Kickstart/KickLayoutA1200, try uncommenting this line:

;MODULE Kickstart/ATechA1200Fix

Now get me one of those beers  :-D
