I have found this site thanks to a friend who pointed me here...
I am in the UK, I have just unpacked a complete Amiga 1200 setup...
A1200 with an expansion type card up the bottom of it..
I know the hard drive was replaced for a larger one... I can't remember how to find out what size...
Commodore 1940 monitor, external floppy, mouse and game joystick.
Citizen swift 240c dot matrix printer.
Loads of software...
Everything works, Would this be the place to sell it...

If selling it is your goal, then yes you're in the right place. But why not get to know it first...? ;-)

I bought this lot new years ago... and I really enjoyed it but I have since moved on to PCs... I cannot honestly be bothered to play with it as it now seems very hard work...
I am intending to move home soon and this is one of many items that have to go...
-
Fair enough :-) No doubt somebody here will take it off your hands, but they will want to know what the accelerator is since this will have a significant effect on the value.

Thanks for your answers...
I have no idea what it is... but here is a pic...
Yes it does still work after being removed and replaced...

It looks like an 8 megabyte RAM expansion with floating point unit and real-time clock. When it's plugged in the PCMCIA slot on the left side of the computer doesn't work due to the limited addressing of the 68ec020 main processor.
-edit-
It also means that it will be difficult to install a network adapter since that typically plugs into the PCMCIA slot and that the computer is still running at the original 14 MHz clock speed.
-
Yeah, but it has a SIMM slot, so it would probably be easy replacing the 8 MB SIMM with a 4 MB one thus enabling PCMCIA...
Anyhow, I was always fascinated by those "simple" boards... :-) I remember being tempted to buy one at the time (they were cheap) but never did because I kept saving till I had enough money to buy a shiny new 030 one. Hehe.
I'd love to have one of these nowadays for some odd reason. But I am not gonna spend any money on that stuff, so it's just like the good days, in a way, lol.

Did you spill a jar of mustard all over the keys?

This looks like the "Hawk" from the big book of amiga hardware...

Motorrollin, please, behave yourself! Don't let him get addicted! There's no cure for amigamania, as you know.
I think it's fair to let him sell (or better, give for free) all that dangerous stuff... :-)
-
Can you tell us where abouts in the UK you are? It'd probably cost a lot to post all that gear so it'd be of most interest to someone in your locality.

Thanks for all the replies...
Well it is what it is... I have had it from new... I will try to sort out all the software and list it...
I am in Surrey, just north of Gatwick.. I would not wish to try to post any of it, too expensive and too dangerous.
I have no idea what it is worth so I guess it's down to fair offers and buyer collects after seeing it all working.

HAHA You just read what it says on the picture pretending you were working it out by yourself

First acceleartor I ever bought was the BLizzard that had a clock doubled 020 on it, and 8 meg ram, really made a difference that baby

A perfect AGA game machine I'd say. Welcome. Really nice shape, monitor and all.
