Just thought i would share this here i went to this auction site http://www.ebid.co.uk/ (http://www.ebid.co.uk/)

and i found windows 2000 pro for buy it now it was near the end and it seemed very cheep so i used buy it now for 12 pounds i did not email first for info because i would not have got the reply back before the end of auction ,so after i used buy it now i emailed for more infomation  and got a response the next day to say it was a copy with serial ,i then emailed back to say i am not buying a pirated version and would not be paying for it if he leaves any bad feedback i will report him for software piracy and i will have the last laugh. :-x

Damn right too!!!

You don't need to pay for a copy of Win2K Pro with a serial number.

Mr Kazaa or Mr eDonkey or Mrs Gnuleus would be more than happy to help you out with respect to that one.

It isn't piracy if you use your own  serial number, oh wait, thats just for numberless OEM versions, my bad. DOH!

I know that but a legal version is needed if i want to sell one of my pc,s i would put linux or beos or aros on it but most people would want to use windows .
