After reading the (fantastic) news that a company is going to start production of complete minimigs I hurriedly followed the link to the company's site, only to find that its dead.
http://www.acube-systems.com
Can someone tell me if this is temporary, or other things have happened?
Thanks!
-
The site is working for me!

moto
-
don't worry its only temporary... ;-)
-
Its down here. I even tried to send them an email, but it came back with an error :(
-
Down here too. Page not found...
-
yup dead for me too
-
I hope they havent been hit by Amiga Inc or something!
-
No problems here, this IMAGE (http://www.acube-systems.biz/splash/minimig.jpg) is on the frontpage.
-
No problems here either.
-
Work for me too
-
Here's the problem:
Everblue was using this link: http://www.acube-systems.com
And those who have access are using this link: http://www.acube-systems.biz
Wrong suffix.

both work for me

No need to roll your eyes, CLS. It's clearly a routing problem.
-
I think it's no routing problem.
The acube-systems.com domain has (probably) been parked, waiting for renewal:
Domain name: ACUBE-SYSTEMS.COM
Created on: 2007-01-05
Updated on: 2007-01-05
Expires on: 2008-01-05
I've never heard about parking it before the expiration date, though, that sounds a bit weird :)
-
Hmmm... speculating further... maybe Acube, themselves, are parking it in preparation for dumping?
When I followed the link provided by SLayeR first realized that there were two domains in question, but the page changed a couple of times. First it had the image SLayeR suggested, then it looked like the page I remember from previous visits, then it looked like SLayeR's image again. So, maybe... it's just under construction?

Changing provider
Bassano del Grappa - Italy - 23 december 2007: ACube Systems will move its websites to a new hosting company. Thus, you may experience a few problems in the next days accessing our websites and contacting us by email.
Probably nothing to worry about.
Happy New Year....

Maybe they are in the process of installing OS4. I know I am and that's why *one* of my sites is down.
-
I had no probs with their site. I just accessed it now. :-D
-
So, anyone sent Acube an email, and got an answer back?
-
I sent an email this morning at 11:47am.. no message receipt and no reply as yet!
-
I sent 3 days ago.. nothing so far.
-
Confounded customer services!
I hope they don't go the way of Commodore.. BANKRUPT.
Perhaps the logical explanation is that they're just getting back to work after the Winter holiday season...
-
guys! mhhh ... how to say in a polite way!? mhhh ... no sorry i don't find any "polite" way to comment some of your posts ...
-
@Thread
See chrisrot's post.
Nothing to worry about.

Did anyone else notice that the OS4 hardware compatibility list keeps getting older?
