Title: Radiohead's new year's eve concert on "Current TV"
Post by: motorollin on December 31, 2007, 06:26:32 PM
Radiohead played a gig on "Current TV" today (while I was in bed) and this was broadcast on TV and also on the Current TV web site. Does anyone know if there is a way to download it? I need to see it!

For anyone who's interested this is available now on current.com. I'm recording it using my Mac's TV out and an EyeTV on another Mac so I can watch it at leisure. Have listened to a little bit while it's recording and it sounds great!

@moto:

I'm interested, thanks.

Just got my tickets through for their summer gig at Glasgow Green.

Oh, and happy new year!

Cheers mate :-) I've actually got a recording of the NYE gig so I can watch and re-watch it at leisure. I was always led to believe that Radiohead weren't that great live, so I've never looked in to getting tickets since I don't want to taint my high opinion of them. So please let me know if they're any good :-)

[EDIT]
Hmm, just had a look at tickets for their Tower Hamlets gig which is probably closest to me:

Face value: £42.50
Booking fee: £4.25
Transaction fee: £4.80

I think that's more than I could afford anyway by the time I pay for the train ticket to get there :-(

The new year gig is also now available on iTunes as a video podcast.
